New Around Here
I am having issues with the USB application section. When I go to the Network Place(Samba) Share/Cloud Disk section and try to create a new directory, it just keeps processing it but never creates a directory. I have tried this on several different drives and all have failed.

Past Merlin Firmwares did allow me to create these Folders and so I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem?

I would like to add that I have two of these routers. And both of them are now doing the same thing, which is not able to create folders. If you create the folder outside of the router, then everything works fine.

Creating folder on USB disk Asus RT ac68U failing

Hi,
I have a similar problem. Just attached a newly formatted 1TB Western Digital USB disk to my Asus RT-AC68U. Under USB applications Network Place tab can see the USB device and disk name.
If I try to create a folder, I specify the folder name, and then it just keeps on saying "Processing".

Also I cannot create new users. Same story - keeps processing.

I am using the currently newest firmware version 3.0.0.4.374_339

Possibly a Chrome compatibility issue

Hi Again,

For me it was an issue with Chrome. When I switched to IE, there was no problem. The "Processing" message disappeared after a few seconds and the folders and users were created :-)
