Hello,
I am having the afore-mentioned problem with my Asus RT-AC66U router. I recently upgraded to 374.43 build, but suffered a loss at wireless performance and attempted factory reset.
It solved the wireless performance issue, but whenever I switch on the tv to watch a channel through IPTV, there seems to be an overload of some sort which causes all other devices to lose connectivity and attempts to reconnect result in a failure. There are no error logs visible in Asus web interface.
Any hints on how to resolve this issue?
I have now resolved this temporarily by setting the IPTV STB port to the one in use by the set top box, which solves the problem but creates other issues (there is a printer connected to the same port via a switch which I'd like to have in the same VLAN as other devices, and I can't use the STB's DLNA client if it's on a different VLAN than my NAS device).
I wouldn't like to load the old configuration either since it would be likely to result in a loss of wireless performance again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Below is a screenshot of my IPTV settings.
