I have a AC66U router running firmware Merlin 378.56_2.
My ISP provider has separate ethernet cables for internet and iptv so my current setup is that the internet cable goes to my router but the iptv cable goes into a powerline adapter and form there to the Amino STB.
The problem is that the powerline is not very stable and they go out of sync every once in a while and about 10 minutes of pluggin/unplugging is needed to get it back sync'ed, and it always happens at the worst possible time, in the middle of a movie that is
So my question is: Would it be possible to create a vlan on port 4 on the router, plugin the iptv cable there and then bridge that to an ssid separate from the home ssid and then have an wifi to ethernet device (I have an EA-N66 that I can use) connecting to the Amino STB?
