Via Slashdot, I came across this interesting article about support for IPv6 in consumer-grade equipment, and am pleasantly surprised to see that the only router outside of the Apple duo, the DIR-655 (which I own) is listed as compliant with the IPv6 spec.

"We're using the D-Link DIR-655 in our private trial, and feedback from customers has been very positive," shares Bulk. "We'd like to offer our trial customers a few other vendors to choose from, but other than Apple (which I have yet to test), I've found no other consumer-grade IPv6-ready routers in the market."

Any thoughts, Tim, others?

Buffalo routers added IPv6 support back before they got pulled off the market due to the legal hassled.

I'm starting to note IPv6 support (or lack thereof) in reviews. I also have a major overhaul of the Charts coming that will allow searching for IPv6 and many other product attributes.

Despite all the recent brouhaha over IPv6, I still believe this is a years-away issue in the US at least. ISPs may start running dual-stack soon. But IPv6 only is years away.
