IPV6 issues with ATT Uverse 6rd

New Around Here
Hi everyone,

I have a very strange issue. I finally turned on the 6rd from uverse and while my RC-ac66u can get provisioned through DHCP-PD. It can't route anything. I have ssh'ed into it and tried to ping ipv6.google.com it resolves but no messages get to the destination.

I am using 376.49_4 and did the reset after install.

It isn't the cable modem for I can ping6 from it and get responses.

I looked at the routing table and it looks right. I am at a loss as to why all my computers can get ipv6 addresses but can't do anything with them.

thanks,

Blair

P.S. Merlin keep up the great work. I have been using Asuswrt-Merlin for a couple of years and this is the first time I have had any issues.

I'm having a similar problem as are others.

It doesn't look to be a problem with ASUS (or RMerlin's firmware), but with the AT&T modem and the use of DMZ+ to talk to our third-party router (Read: poor man's bridge).

If you do an ifconfig on your 6rd adapter from a shell on the ASUS, assuming it's all configured correctly, you'll see a TX count above zero, but an RX count of zero. This means the ATT modem isn't passing traffic back like it should.

You can see other people's experience here:
http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r29261106-New-Firmware-6.11.1.29-enh.tm

Note that all seem to have success when they ditch their router and plug directly to the ATT modem's "LAN" hub.

Thanks for pointing me to the right thing

Sorry Merlin,

In all my googling around that dslforum thread never appeared. Luckily this isn't a major issue for me yet so I can wait until ATT fixes it. I am glad that this wasn't an issue with Asuswrt.

Again thanks for pointing me to that forum thread now I understand what is going on.
