Hi guys, I'm using 380.57 fw version on my RT-AC88U. I've setup correctly my IPv6 ISP settings (native DHCPv6 with prefix delegation over PPPOE, Telecom Italia, Italy) and I have a fully functional IP6 connectivity.

But, whenever I change some settings to my LAN environment (for example adding a MAC entry on my GUEST network) and apply them, I lost my IPv6 LAN Address (on the status page it reports "/0" value). For having it back I have to disable and re-enable IPv6

Am I missing something or shouldn't it work in that way? Anyhow, for having back an IPv6 LAN address, is there a quicker way than disable an re-enable IPv6 functionality?

Thanks in advance

Either try an earlier version or one of the alpha's from RMerlin.

Did you try to simply reboot the router and see if it worked then?

Yes, I have it working back by simply disabling and re-enabling the IPv6 functionality on IPv6 tab (reset won't needed)

Not a reset, a reboot (or pull the AC plug and wait a minute before plugging it back in).

Yes, reboot works, but it is not necessary; as I said, also disabling and re-enabling IPv6 functionality does the job. But I think this is not the point; I am supposed to not loose the IPv6 LAN address when changing LAN settings on the router, am I?

I have the same/similar problem with my 87U. See here

I think I remember reading somewhere that the IPv6 parts are more an Asus thing, and Merlin doesn't do too much on it.

I would think the opposite. If a reboot gives you the desired effect, then it is necessary. ;)

Or, continue disabling and enabling IPv6.
