I decided to enable IPv6 on my RT-AC86U with the Merlin 386.4 firmware. After updating the ipv6 parameters, I also rebooted the router and modem. But test-IPv6.com still shows that I am using ipv4.

Below are my settings and test results. Is there another setting missing or something that might interfere with this working? My ISP is T-Mobile Home Internet and I understand that this is IPv6 based.

With T-Mobile Home Internet you need to set the connection type to Passthrough. Also, I have noticed a problem with the 386.4 version of Merlin where the 6relayd stops sending router announcements out every few days and you end up having to reboot the router. I reverted back to the prior release and the problem went away. I haven't spent any additional time troubleshooting the problem.

Welcome to the forums @drm200.

Looking at a quick search of T-Mobile Home Internet service, I'm not sure if they provide 'Native' as the connection type. Have you contacted them to ask what connection type they support? Have you tried other connection types? Followed by a reboot, of course.

Thanks, That worked fine!
