Ipv6 to ipv4?

My ISP uses a carrier grade nat. So this means no publically routable ipv4 address.

I do get an ipv6 block and this has been working quite well so far. However, I am wanting to replace my docker vms with a kubernetes cluster.

Currently ipv6 is still in a weird place for ipv6. Is there an easy way to forward specific ipv6 traffic from my routers WAN ipv6 to an internal ipv4 address?

I don't want to change my current ipv6 block though. Something like socat or 6tunnel may work? But I'm not sure if they are available.

Thanks!

I think the easiest way is probably to use a computer to run the OpenVPN server (the router’s OpenVPN server may not support IPv6), and then remotely access that computer through the OpenVPN, and then you should be on the LAN.

This is true, and I already have a VPS setup using openvpn server, and a client on my internal Network.

I use iptables to forward traffic to my internal Network from my VPS public IP address. Works pretty well.

However, some services that I host, is prefer to have public internet access (like nextcloud).

Instead of doing this in my router, I can easily do it on one of my internal VMs
