Is it possible to run 2.4 GHz in client mode while configuring 5 GHz as AP?

Often enough I find my self in a position to run the 2.4 GHz channel in client mode and the 5 GHz as an AP. This is done in hotels where I aim to keep my devices on seperate subnet. I've been using DD-WRT to achieve this but would prefer to use AsusWRT if at all possible. Is there a way to achieve this with merlins firmware?
