Hello,
I found SNB recently. It's great. If upcoming hardware info was added, it would be perfect
I'd like to buy a four or five bay NAS. The NAS must be quiet, support hot-swap, and not lose all my data during a power outage.
The box will be used as a Samba share to serve 1080p to xbmc.
The side of a ReadyNAS box claims that ReadyNAS is the only consumer product that will not lose all my data due to a power outage while changing raid levels or rebuilding a disk. I can't find any information to find out if this is true.
Synology: apart from the power outage issue, doesn't generally support hot-swap, unless I pay a lot of money.
QNAP: loud. power outage issue.
WD/BlackArmor: not enough info.
Help!
