isolated network lan segments (vlan)

Hello,

I recently purchased this N66U.
I have the default firmware, but the one thing that I cant believe it doesnt have (for $150) is network segmentation on the LAN ports.

Example:
LAN port 1 is for 10.x
LAN port 2 and 3 is 172.x
LAN port 4 is for 192.x

Or at least I cannot set it up on the GUI...

Is there a way to do this, and is there a way to put Firewall rules between these segments?

Not that I'm aware of with either the ASUS or ASUS-Merlin firmware - you're pretty much limited to a single VLAN and subnet.

You would probably have to look at installed DD-WRT for this kind of port-based VLAN config (last time I looked the VLAN part was pretty easy, but you might have to revert to the command line iptables for the f/wall ruleset - caveat, this may have changed recently..)
