Generally all of the LED's on the front of the RT-AX86U Pro are extremely bright for some reason. If one or more of the front LED's are dimmer than the others try cycling the LED button in the GUI off then back on to see if the dim LED's remain dim. Could be a manufacturing defect on those specific front LED's causing them to be dimmer than the others. And like already indicated LED's can become dimmer over time. PS: In my case I leave the front LED's disabled/off.I am using an ASUS RT-AX86U PRO router with the latest Merlin firmware (3004_388.8_4). What I've noticed is all the LAN lights are extremely bright and the other lights are very dull. Any thoughts please?
Thanks but I tried cycling the LED but that did not work. I was wondering if it might be a firmware problem.Generally all of the LED's on the front of the RT-AX86U Pro are extremely bright for some reason. OK thanksNew router? Manufacturing defect...
Asuswrt-Merlin firmware has nothing to do with it.
It is not a firmware problem. My RT-AX86U Pro's LED's were the same brightness on Asus-Merlin firmware (3004.388.8_4) as it is on stock Asus firmware (3004.388.x and now 3006.102.x).I was wondering if it might be a firmware problem.
