Larger subnet client list

Hi,

I recently increased my subnet to 255.255.254.0 (router ip 192.168.42.1).
I have the dhcp pool setup from 192.168.43.100 to 192.168.43.200.
The problem is that I do not see (in the device list) any device that has been given an ip from the hdcp server.
I only see the devices that are on the 192.168.42.x network section.
I am using the latest merlin 380.65_4 firmware on a N66U router.
Is this normal or is this a bug?

I'm not the best resource but I am under the impression that these home grade routers don't support nets that large.
Someone is going to have to chime in that has more firm knowledge on the topic.

It's normal.....the networkmap functions only work on a /24 subnet. The devices should work OK, but they won't show up in the gui.

Ok, thanks ... the devices are working perfectly OK! Should be nice to have the device list supporting larger subnets ... can this easily be implemented in FW? The home networks are growing nowadays with all these IOT devices ... so larger subnets will become more common.

Thanks

can this easily be implemented in FW?

Will have to be done by Asus, especially as their new networkmap daemon in firmware 382 is now closed source...
