Finally a new firmware update for the 1900AC V1 after 2 years.

Firmware version: 1.1.10.182461
Release date: July 25, 2017

- Integrated multiple security fixes
- Updated to latest openSSL and stunnel versions
- Fixed an issue where the wrong password was displayed in the Wireless bridge/repeater settings page
- Added DHCP Request messages to the DHCP client log
- Fixed DHCP Reservation functionality when the local network configuration is changed
- Added support for special characters and Chinese characters in the SSID name
- The Turkey time zone is moved from GMT+02 to GMT+03
- Fixed a Parental Controls bug where some devices were not properly blocked
- The ESP protocol is now supported for ingress IPv6 ESP frames
- Added support for IPv6 connections when the prefix is not 64-bit
- Added support for an IPv6 inbound UDP port for XBox

That's nice as a roll-up...

V2 is still swinging in the wind...
 
I used the V1 for a good amount of time and never had a reboot issue. This new firmware seems to work good so far.
 
The V1's are a bit of a snowflake - unique in they use the Armada XP CPU, as opposed to the Armada 38X on the other family members...

They're reliable enough... nice thermal solution, and the power supply was good (overrated for what the device actually drew) - V2 and later did pull some production cost out...

Kong's DDWRT seems to be the best firmware outside of factory for the V1.
 
I have six in production environments which have been working fine for a long time but all run McDebian.
 
I used the V1 for a good amount of time and never had a reboot issue. This new firmware seems to work good so far.

The random reboots in v1 - memory leaks in the older factory firmware - was fixed some time back..
