New Around Here
After connecting my work computer to my local network I've noticed my log file filling up with the following repeated entries:

dnsmasq-dhcp[236]: Ignoring domain kynetec.com for DHCP host name XXXXXX

XXXXXX = my laptops name

Any idea what's causing this and what can be done to stop it?

Thanks,

--Jim

That's a fairly standard message. Your laptop is configured to be part of a domain (kynetec.com) so it's trying to register it's name with that domain. Just ignore it. Sometimes doing a total power off(not standby)/power on will clear it. But it could just be that the laptop is locked down by your work IT department.
