Sorry if this has been asked before. Did a search but didn't see it.

What process is built in to the firmware to limit the growth/size of logs (sys logs etc.)? Does Asuswrt-Merlin implement "log rotation"? I have GT-AX6000 and don't want to blow out storage/RAM/NVRAM(?). Should I be saving off to USB or does it reset periodically?

Also, I use Diversion and Skynet. What log level for "Default message log level" and "Log only messages more urgent than" should I set?

Both stock and Asus rotate the syslog file when it reaches a set limit. That's either 256kB or 512kB depending on the model.


Also, I use Diversion and Skynet. What log level for "Default message log level" and "Log only messages more urgent than" should I set?
That's probably a question best asked in the AddOns forum.
