Could someone tell me where the router logs are stored on an RT-AC68U running Merlin firmware and if they are lost if the router is rebooted? Thanks.
Thanks for that. So presumably, logs shouldn't be lost just by turning off the router? I only asked because I seem to recall that a previous Asus router I owned, running their stock firmware, used to lose all the logs if the router lost power for any reason.Asuswrt uses syslog. The "live" log is in /tmp, and it gets regularly backed up to the /jffs/ persistent partition.

Great. I'm really impressed with the way the firmware has improved since I last owned an RT-AC68U. The combination of Asus's stock firmware + your additional bits and pieces, together with the apparent build quality of the hardware, makes for an awesome combination. That's correct. Asus changed that about a year ago or so.
