Hi all,
I'm now and then buying broken routers, fix them and sell them on eBay, giving net profits to charities - a bit of a hobby project of mine. The problem is that I cannot fix routers beyond hardware errors (i.e faulty components) and Serial TTL connections (TFTP uploads). Whenever I am dealing with corrupt NAND, I'm falling short of solutions. I have tried JTAG adapter with OpenOCD software but didn't really get anywhere.
This is why I wanted to ask you whether anyone could recommend a JTAG programmer with bundled software compatible with Windows that would allow me to work within the JTAG environment?
Also I'm looking at external programmers as I can desolder the NAND with the proper tools - if that is a better option than JTAG? Any recommendations are welcome! Cheers
