Allow port forwarding to a device only from a specific IP

Okay,

So I have a device on my network that I want to restrict it's connections to a range of IP addresses. I don't want it to be able to communicate with any other external IPs other than those specified.

The rest of the devices on the network should be allowed to connect normally (no restrictions).

I've tried setting up a white list. I specified the internal and external IPs and the ports (for the single device). However, once I apply the settings, the rest of the devices are no longer able to connect to the internet.

I'm using an AC68U with Merlin 376.48_1

With the cisco routers I've used in the past, I could just whitelist a range of IPs for a device and be done with it. I'm not finding an easy way to do that with this router.

Thanks in advance for the help! You guys are great!
