New Around Here
New guy here, sorry for the dumb questions:

1. Can someone clarify the difference between Extend and Spoof LAN TTL Values?
2. Does Merlin have an easy way to change the TTL value for all devices going through the router? or is this a modify the IP routing table action?

Can you give some more information of the problem you are trying to solve?

Yes, change my TTL setting to mimic my android device as opposed to other devices. 64 vs 65 setting I believe.

DDT-wrt and tomato have a pretty easy setting for this feature. But their dual wan ability stinks.

There's some discussion about it here and here, although I still don't understand why you would need to do this. Care to educate me?

My understandings it's one of the ways mobile providers differentiate phone traffic from other traffic. I just don't like ldea of having companies snoop and choose.

It acts as as a flag that says, "I'm not data on a phone".

Now I just have to get my learn on for the scripting management I guess.
