manually setting address

I've been having that 1 device with multiple connections issue lately and it seems it's only my wireless devices, mainly my samsung TVs. So I decided to manually set addresses to all my devices and that got me wondering if the multiple addresses are cause of the wireless devices switching the Wi-Fi frequencies, the 2.4 & 5Ghz, thus giving them multiple addresses?

My Samsung TV is connected via ethernet, and once I did connect it via WIFI (5.0) and indeed I noticed that there is a different MAC address for each interface (leading to diff. IP addresses) .... I assume it is the same for 2.4 ...
