Silly OpenVPN question

please see this thread
https://forums.openvpn.net/topic12605.html

Do I simply need to change the server config and client config file to xor or reverse data packet order? or I am still required to patch the OpenVPN pkg running on the asus merlin firmware?

Thanks!

I haven't applied the scrambling patch. If you want to use it, you can take a look at Asuswrt-Phantom, a form of my firmware that has the patch applied.

I am thinking does using of additional TLS-AUTH can be effective against DPI on OpenVPN? If the answer is YES it is much better solution.
