I'm trying to setup minidlna to my sony/bravia TV.
I can see all folders, video, music and picture and I have 5st pictures in .jpg format in pictures folder and film (.avi) in video map. But I can't see them on TV.

My media is on USB memory formated i EXT4 (not sure ext4 is supported)

I have deleted all files in BD folder and restart and rescan but no go.
Have someone any hint or suggestion ?

Easiest way to see if it's set up correctly is to test minidlna with android device. Just instal upnplay from play store and see if it's working.

If you can't see your media files in there, then there must be something wrong with your shares. I used minidlna with EX320 over WiFi without a problem.

Post, your model of Sony bravia and configuration from web page. Also, I don't know if ext4 is supported, maybe someone will enlighten us ....

Thank you for your answere.
I have a BRAVIA KDL-40NX700.
Tested with upnplay and I can't se any of my files in there.
I have my files, /mnt/rt-ac68u/data and video, music and picturen there.

What format of media file is supported? Is it depended of what my TV supports ?

Ok, so first thing:
http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/support-info.pl?info_id=797&mdl=KDL40NX700

Looks like your tv will not play anything other than mpeg file format :(.

Beside that, is your hdd named "rt-ac68u" ??. Do You use smb share over local network?, check if You can see those files over there.
Another thing is to look for Minidlna log. Can't remember where is it stored though..... Do You even have optware or entware installed ?

I have it working to my android now and I see my movie on TV but can't play it.
Maby as you show in list that format is not supported.
I have to investigate later, I'm not home in weekend.

Tankyou for your help. I continue after weekend.
