I have a weird question..
I am staying 10-15km from the airport. ( not sure if this info helps)

I have got 4 routers
1x AC3200
2x AC3100
1x AX88U

no matter what I do, when I set the wifi channel to within 116-165, all of my devices are not able to see the wifi SSID unless I am forcing it to 20mhz
36-48 is fine and can be detected regardless of 20/40/80/160

it's not just my laptop that cant detect the SSID. router to router scanning, ipad, samsung phones, all my laptop basically cant see the SSID
all 4 routers are using merlin.

I did a wifi scanning too. apparently noone is using the 5ghz channel.

so something outhere broadcasting a signal that disables upper 5G channels?

You're too close to the airport. Use non-DFS channels.

What the router 'sees' and what a client device 'sees' are two different things. The only one that counts is what the router sees.

here's the question, would a taiwan router help?
so far WL country is replying US.
I'm actually in shanghai, china.

Buying a router in/from the region it will be used in is always a good idea. :)
