the only values accepted in the -70 to -90 range. I'd like to force disconnect at dbm higher than that (like -66). My asus repeter allows numbers in any range. Is that something that could be customized in a future version of merlin?

Not possible, the limits are hardcoded in the driver. I tried to change it in the webui, and it wouldn't work.
