Is there any way to redirect sites to another domain or ip address, like say type in msn.com will redirect to yahoo.com etc...

Also, is it at all possible to disable intranet/network sharing for certain clients only?

So say I have 2 wifi devices and 4 Ethernet devices, but I want 1 of the wifi and ethernet devices not to be able to browse other network shares/devices etc..

If neither of these are possible, is it hard to implement into the firmware?

thanks.

That cannot be trivially done. Most websites will require the actual hostname to match, i.e. even if you were to use the yahoo.com IP when your browser requests msn.com, the yahoo.com server would choke on the actual HTTP request it would get which wouldn't match.

What you want is probably some sort of transparent proxy. Not really trivial to configure.

Well, I have an old netcomm nb6 router lying around that could do it, so I just assumed it would be easier for a more advanced router like the asus to have an option for it!

And about the network sharing, if a wireless guest ssid is set up, there is an option to allow access to intranet, cant this be done for individual device/ip's connected to the router whether wired or wireless? Why is it an option only for the guest wifi...?

thanks
