Greetings...
Thanks for the continued build and advancements of this platform.
I seem to have run into a small issue. I seem to be getting more "Resolving Host" delays than ever before and I am not sure why. Maybe the way I have it configured?
- I have the N66U more or less setup as a default install, not using anything like VPN or even external drives. I use it really for dual band support and DHCP.
- I am using DNS Filtering - OpenDNS Home - 208.67.222.222 - 208.67.220.220 - 8.8.8.8 (To block Malware sites.)
- LAN DHCP - DNS Server is blank - Forward Local Domain is NO
- Data comes in via a Ubnt Bullet M2 into the WAN port. The Bullet is connected via WiFi to a Verizon 4G HotSpot which we use for Internet. (We live in a motor coach full time.)
- My MacBook shows it is using 192.168.1.1 as the DNS.
- Using Chrome on a MacBook. A the bottom we see Resolving Host even for sites such as Google at times or even sites we have visited during the same session. We need to refresh the page at times to make it go through. Or it just sits for some time before going on, or times out. If we connect directly to the HotSpot we do not see this issue.
Thank you kindly for any thoughts or direction.
David
