NAS - Media Streaming & Storage

New Around Here
Hi Everyone! I'm new to the site, but quite liking it so far. Very well done site!

I have a question that is similar to some of the ones that have been asked, but i have a slightly different situation.

I am looking for a beginning level NAS that will do the following things or have these restrictions:

- Used for streaming 1080p or 720p HD movies that are less than 5GB to a Samsung Smart TV via 1 Gbps ethernet (my home is all wired for 1 Gbps ethernet, every computer, every TV). These files are mostly .avi, .mkv, or .mp4.
- Used for backup storage of 2x computers. I torrent on one of the computers and hand off the file to another computer once watched.
- Needs to be under or around $300 (diskless system)

Optional (things that would be nice but nor required)
- Streaming music to an iPHONE 5C
- Automatic backup of computers in house
- Dependable NAS

Hopefully these constraints aren't too much for a decent product...I get tired of pushing files onto a USB drive from a computer and going out to plug the USB drive into the TV. I also use subtitles with almost everything i watch (reasons i torrent most of the time). The TV supports subtitles on USB if they are named the exact same as the video file.

Since I have never used a home NAS before, how difficult is the backup of one full computer to the NAS device? I have about 1TB of data that needs moved. I would also like to push data from my primary computer if the data is changed at any time.... but no need to push data to the NAS if the data isn't changed.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide!
