Hello

Thank you for this useful forum, I really learned a lot from it.

I have bean searching for a NAS which has HDMI and support DLNA and can work on both Windows and Mac. Because I have Philips LCD which support DLNA (Philips 8404) so I want a NAS support this function as well! And has HDMI to watch Full HD movies.
from my search I found NASes support only one of this to functions (either HDMI of DLNA) but did not find any one support both!

My aim is to have all my media files in one place so I can play them from TV or PC. So if you have any other suggestion will let me reach my goal please tell me, because I'm very new to net building.

Thank you

From what I've seen, you'll need to connect a digital media player to your network. This will allow you to stream content from the NAS to the DMP (and therefore the TV).
