I have not posted before but has found the forums to be a great source of information.
I am looking to replace my WD Mybooklive (which suddenly died) with a NAS enclosure and has been looking at the Synology 212j and the Zyxel NSA320. I know that the Zyxel is half the price of the Synology but which one would you guys recommend?
I personally cannot find much in the specs (except for the USB3 support and the faster processor) in NSA325 to add that to the comparison.
My main requirement from the NAS is to store my pics and vids (including mkv) and to serve them to my Samsung TV and to my computers. I also plan to run http and torrent downloads from the NAS so that I don't have to keep the laptops powered up. I have seen reviews praising the OS of the Synology but is the Zyxel far behind?
