Nas with some important features

Hi

I need to backup my files, many media files and programs.

I am looking for 1TB about solution.

1)I want to be able to use custom dyndns or no-ip.
2)Also i need to be fast ethernet 1.000
3)I want also to add users to it with restrictions like read only.
4)About backup i don't know what is a good solution ?
5)It will be nice if it is possible to add extra drive.
6)Stream Movies - I will need to stream movies, also HD content to a wired PC and a Wireless one.


Can you please recomend something for this?

The synology one is my recommendation since i've had only good experiences with their products.

For backup you can use either a usb drive, an esata drive, or another nas.

However, i think usb or eSata is the best solution for home use. Simply plug in an external hard drive and shedule automatic backups at a frequency of your choosing (most people choose once daily).

If you want to add an extra internal drive; go for the ds-207+. If you simply want to add extra external drives the ds-107+ is fine.
