Howdy folks,

Can you guys give this build a try if you are having issues with the NAT loopback in 376.48_1?

https://www.mediafire.com/folder/ftf9kjixr1a5f//Misc

I want to make sure that I ported the correct fix from upstream before making this an "official" release on my end.

Thanks!

hoping that it will work on the rt-ac68u because 3.0.0.4.376.3626 firmware from ASUS does not fix the problem

The NAT loopback issue only affected MIPS routers. ARM routers like the AC68U are not affected.

why it does not work on my rt-ac68u

HW enable or not it's same result

I have a fixed Wan Ip

192.168.1.20 = web server
port forwarding :

port 80 to 192.168.1.20 tcp

DMZ : 192.168.1.20

on my iPhone (4G connection) I have access to my sites with domain name

On local lan I not have access to my sites with domain name

Unfortunately, the issue doesn't seem to be fixed here with RT-AC66U. Did a full factory reset when upgrading to 376.48_1, but didn't do one with 48_3.

Access with public ip works fine from public internet, but not from within the lan.

Works on my AC66U! Flashed from 376.48_1 with disabled NAT acceleration to 376.48_3 without a factory reset, then just enabled NAT acceleration and all is ok

Thank you RMerlin!

Probably can't use the NAT loopback on port 80 because that port is used locally by the router's web interface.

I've had multiple confirmation now that the issue was fixed, so most likely yours is caused by something completely different.

A factory default reset shouldn't be necessary.

Hi Merlin
No FW release in the folder pointed by the url you gave in you post.
Maybe I arrived too late and resutl for RT-N66U is already known to you?

Thanks for testing it folks. Builds were moved to their final distribution folders.

I will lock this thread now since it was only intended at confirming that the iptables fix was working as expected.
