Native Transmission memory problems

New Around Here
Hi,

I have an RT-N16 with ASUSWRT-Merlin 3.0.0.4_374.35_4.

I have installed the "original" Download Master which indeed uses transmission-daemon for downloading torrents.

I'm ok with using this native Transmission but the problem is that when transmissio-daemon is running my memory usage is almost 95%, and any other task such as samba sharing or even the wifi connection suddenly drops. I have enabled the swap partition but the problems are still there.

On the other hand I found that the settings.json file that the native transmission is using declares 256MB of memory ¿can be that correct as RT-N16 has 128 MB of RAM memory? ¿How can I change it as this file is generated by the Download Manager?

¿Will I have better performance installing transmission from Optware?

Thanks and regards
