Need help setting up FTP server with TLS on AX-6000 router

Hey everyone,

Need some assistance is setting up a FTP server on my router (Ax-6000 Rapture) with enabled TLS. Router is running latest stock firmware.
Baseline situation is when TLS is disabled, I can access my file list and transfer files without a hitch, using the login credentials

Tried selecting on the client app Explicit or implicit FTPS and got error 522 ssl connection failed session reuse required error on client
I'm using andFTP on Android, tried a few other FTP clients from play sore, the result was the same.

Are you trying to access the FTP server from your LAN or the WAN?

You should be using explicit.

I don't know the current state of stock firmware but last time I used AndFTP the router's config was missing a required option (require_ssl_reuse=NO). Which appears to be confirmed by the error message you're getting.

Trying to access it from within my network, so LAN

It was a problem with AndFTP that dates back about 10 years. Maybe they fixed it, but it doesn't sound like it. The solution is probably to use a different FTP client.

As a test try using a PC FTP client like FileZilla and see if you can connect with that. It should be OK and prove the FTP server is working.

I've just tried CxFileExplorer and that doesn't appear to have the ssl_reuse problem.

Cx works like a charm! I tried probably 4 different file explorers and none worked. Also tried filezilla and works perfectly as well.
