need help with parental control - client names do not show

Hi everyone,

I am pulling my hair out as I cannot find a solution to my problem.

My kids got a new gear and I wanted to add these to the list of devices under parental control.

...the clients show fine under LAN -> DHCP Server config with their fixed leases.
However, the selectable list of clients under parental control is changing every time.
- the list is always too short, not showing all clients (I have around 25 or so)
- sometimes it only shows IP numbers, no names.

I suspect, there is a client-name in my DHCP-leases list that messes up things, but I cannot find the one, for the sake of me.

I changed all "_" and "." plus "-" chars in the DHCP client names....nothing, even after rebooting the box.

pls help!

TIA ford

You can still manually enter the device's MAC address if you can't select it from the list.

:D
Thanks Merlin....this did the trick...actually I think this has been the way I did it in the first place, 8 month ago, when I set up the first devices...just got carried away this time.
