New Around Here
I have just bought on sale ASUS RT-AC3100 Dual Band Wireless Gigabit Router AiMesh . Then I've read a feed back for this router stating "can control max of 16 MAC addresses" . I know I should do to opposite - first reading the customer reviews and then buying but it happened in the rush of the boxing day.

Can you guy recommend me a good router with min of 30 controlled MAC addresses. I would like to have a very secure wifi network and only allowed from me devices to be able to connect to my network.
Thank you for your advices in advance.

Here is the review for this Asus router that made me very disappointed:
Only allows 16 MAC Addresses. You have to add each device one at a time by MAC Address. Good luck finding all the MAC Addresses in your house since each device can have 3. (WIFI 2.4ghz, WIFI 5ghz, wired). The default policy is to allow unrestricted access so new MAC Addresses will be unrestricted. Simple as switching the connection from 2.4 to 5ghz.
Additional Comments
Did I mention that you can only control 16 MAC Addresses? Every device potentially has 2 or 3 MAC Addresses, so you can only effectively control 4 or 5 devices/computers. What a load of CRAP. I expected much more in a $350 router.

You appear to be misunderstanding what the "Parental Controls" function does. It restricts what internet sites can be visited by the specified devices. For example, a child's computer can only access the internet during the day and cannot access porn sites. It does not restrict what wireless devices can connect to your local network.

To restrict which wireless devices can connect to your network your primary method is WPA2 authentication. There is also the option to setup MAC filter lists but, as I'm sure other people on this forum will be keen to point out, that is easily bypassed by people with sufficient technical knowledge. If WPA2 password authentication is not sufficient for you you could setup a RADIUS server instead.
