Hey folks, i have been trying to setup my extender for couple of months now.

The setup was succesful , However im trying to connect my wifi extender with my Asus RT-68u on channels 149-161, but the extender doesn't see them.
On the Netgear website it states that channel 36-48 & 149-165 are supported. However i cannot use the Latter.
I can only connect my wifi extender when Asus is set to channel 48 or lower in 5GHZ.
Why is this a problem?

Is the higher 5 GHz band allowed in your region?

Thanx, i solved the problem, now its working. It was region locked before. No wonder why?? Eventhough channels 149-161 are considered consumer channel.

Changed the region to USA. :)

Thanks for reporting back. Glad you got it fixed.
