Built a 4 spoke and hub VPN network to connect 4 branch offices.

I think I am missing something really small as I have one large workgroup setup on the network but can only browse computers on local ip range. When I mean browse I mean see them in my network and see their shares.

Computers A can see computers on 192.168.1.0 - 255.255.255.0

Computers B can see computers on 192.168.2.0 - 255.255.255.0

I can ping ip address across the entire network from site to site and using the HP installer have found all the printers. I know I am missing something.

Please note all computers are Windows XP Pro

Is this all peer to peer/workgroup? Or are you running a domain, active directory?

A lot of it depends on your DNS..if you're running active directory.
If you're just doing peer to peer...it doens't work well. Can try lmhosts files..but then you have to setup all computers on static IPs.
Many VPN routers don't pass nebios traffic well..which you'll need if you don't have a local DNS or WINS service. Plus netbios clogs up VPN tunnels with its chatty traffic, cutting down throughput.
