New news on hardware encryption in QNAP or Synology?

Dusting off this existing topic

I am trying to decide on a QNAP or Synology NAS.

My definite requirements are:

- Hardware encryption
- 4 TB of data needing encryption
- video surveillance


Has anyone evaluated existing HW encryption options out there who has purchased a NAS recently with new news to share?
