Just curious what's causing the following:

On my old RT-AC68U the maximum associations for wl0 and wl1 were set to 128.
On my new RT-AX86U the maximum associations for wl0 are still 128, but for wl1 it's set to 64.

wl0_maxassoc=128
wl1_maxassoc=64

Besides the question how useful WiFi still is with so many active clients (this is not the point of my question, it's just hypothetic) - why has the newer hardware the lower association limit? Any ideas?
I'd assume that there is plenty of power to handle 128 clients in the newer chipset, but maybe it has something to do with ax support and 160MHz channels resulting in more calculation efforts per client?

kr, chris
