Ever since making the grave mistake of "upgrading" to Asus recent release on May 25th I've been very disappointed. Their official firmware undoubtedly changed something. I've had nothing but issues with PS4 gaming online since, and to make matters worse I cannot escape with Merlin firmware to solve the issue.

Currently running .61 Alpha2 on my 5300

I'm continually greeted with "The router in use might not support IP Packet Fragmentation" when running the PS4 connection test. This only has occurred with the recent lockout of 3rd party firmware. It's incredibly frustrating and definitely shows its ugly face in games (rubberbanding namely).

I'll save a few posts and will post my log here:

EDIT: in trying to post my log the website blocked me? Will PM Merlin the log and a link to this thread.

EDIT 2: I can't even PM Merlin my log due to site restrictions.... -_- how do I post my log?

Bored? What is your last FW version? If your a gamer and want to wait Official release and retry later.... here we go:

Downgrade:
First you need the Restoration Tool from asus(asus site https://www.asus.com/us/Networking/RTN66U/HelpDesk_Download/) , install it
after you need to put the router in RESCUE MODE

Follow these steps its for Ac66, but work for all models, you need to do all the steps from the link below

Power off the router: Hold RESET button and power on router, keep holding reset til led begin flashing slowy, release RESET button and you are now in rescue mode
