No reconnect after forced reconnect by provider

strtp

New Around Here
I'm running a ASUS AC-86U (with Merlin 386.14_2) with a DrayTek Vigor 165 where I put the internet details into the ASUS WAN settings. My provider O2 Germany is doing a forced disconnect every 24h and usually my internet is working again after a few minutes. But every 3-4 days it doesn't come back at all so I have to do a reboot by pressing the physical switches of both devices. This is quite annoying because I'm selfhosting some stuff and then everything goes down every 3-4 days while I'm not at home. I've seen some issues in my AC-86U logs, but can't really figure it out what's going on. I've attached a log file from today. The forced reconnect must have happened between 14:25 and 15:15 or so. The router also seems to have lost time/date info after the restart.

Anybody got an idea on how to start debugging this so my router connects fine after the forced reconnect?

Did you edit your log file and replace your IP address with 1.1.1.1? If so you should have said that as it is confusing because 1.1.1.1 is a commonly used DNS address.

I would start by disabling IPv6 on the router as your ISP doesn't appear to support it at this time, or there's some other issue with IPv6. Then see if the situation improves.

Yeah, sorry forgot to mention that. Edited the log to prevent posting my IP. I'll try disabling IPV6, thank you!
