Not Understanding DNS with Diversion

Hi all,

I have been reading some posts and am quite close to getting my revised idea working.

I installed Diversion & Skynet and added sites I wanted to block in Diversion as WILDCARD.

The issue is once I set the traffic to route through OPENVPN, it doesn't respect my custom DNS blocking from Diversion.

I have read alot of posts and gotten info on how to resolve, but I don't get what I am doing wrong.

I have enabled DNS over TLS and setup 1.1.1.1 as my option there,

Per Xentrk's comments, Then i enabled Accept DNS to disabled / set dhcp in bottom (dhcp-option DNS 1.1.1.1)
my pings to sites I block still resolve the real IP's but are blocked via skynet rules.

I also tried Dns to exclusive or strict ( I don't recall), then my DNS leaks my real info.

I think im pretty close, But don't get what I am missing?
