Notification of New WIFI Device

I would like to find a free or cheap PC utility that will simply notify me whenever a new MAC connects to my home network. Any suggestions?

Use the router log notification abilities ? Usually can direct at least to a local email server on your lan and look at on your phone.

I know the Deco (TP-Link) and Asus Android apps can push notifications for this when set up.
