Hey all,

I am trying to get WOL to work with this router, and it's been a pain. It does not appear that the Asus Router will allow NAT to be forwarded to the typical broadcast address xxx.xxx.xxx.255

So basically I cannot do a WOL if the NIC goes into power savings (WOL only works for the first 5-10 minutes after going to sleep).

What can I do about this? Nothing? This router has been disappointing..

WOL works fine for me when run from the router, even if the computer has been asleep for the past 12 hours, and I'm sending it to the broadcast address.

Are you using wol or ether-wake? Some network interfaces work better with one or the other command.
