Is there a internal alarm or even an ability for the 68 to sound a small audible alarm about every 5 minutes?

Oddly enough I have never experianced this, but have an associate who has installed and setup merlinwrt on his 68 running Merlin WRT 380.58

He explains that about every 5 minutes he hears a small audible ding dong like sound coming direct from the 68u.

My AC-68U also makes a buzzing sound when I use wi-fi at high speed but I know it is because I have set it to max tx power (708mW).

I am attaching the syslog for the build.

This is not a buzz its a distinct Ding dong type of a sound. Best way to describe it. Has been rebooted

Sure it's not a smoke/carbon monoxide detector with a low battery (or a UPS with a dead battery)?

Lot of times these frequencies are hard to locate...
