New Around Here
Hi All,

I am planning a backup solutions for a small client, the plan to have a NAS HD attached to the client network to back up his files on the LAN, then have identical NAS drive installed at the client’s home (or at my place) to do a backup of the client’s LAN NAS.

Please send me your recommendations for the NAS and for the backup software that can do the off-site backup, I am also installing firewall that has VPN capabilities (SonicWALL TZ 210 Wireless-N Total Secure). I really appreciate quick response.

Also, I am looking for wizards and tutorials for installing and configuring the (SonicWALL TZ 210 Wireless-N Total Secure).

Thank you very much
Ayman

Any NAS that supports rsync can do this. You don't even need a VPN, since many NASes have an option to to rsync over SSH (although this slows the backup considerably).

Look at NETGEAR ReadyNASes or any QNAP or Synology.
