Old AC68U with stock FW 3.0.0.4.380_3264 to Merlin 384.19

Okay, I already have an AC68U running Merlin 384.19 and I bought a another cheap old AC68U C1 with 3.0.0.4.380_3264 for 20USD.
I'd like to run AI-Mesh to extend my network.
My question is can I just flash this old AC68U C1 with 3.0.0.4.380_3264 to Merlin 384.19 via web gui directly?
Or do I need perform a ladder update like flashing the Asus FW 382 to 384 then flash the latest Merlin.

You should be able to update the firmware as normal through the GUI. Follow that with a factory reset, which you would have to do anyway if you're using it as an AiMesh node.

Thanks for confirming that I can update directly to the latest Merlin FW via GUI.
