I have a hotel where I installed nine of these APs. Also installed EdgeMax Lite-3 routers. From the gitgo wireless speed tests have been slow.....no better than 21/12 down to 8/8. Yet I get 30/10 from the wired LAN. I put the old NetGear SOHO routers back and had same result.

We have played with Tx rate, channels, patches, etc. No change.
Now for the strange observation. I connected a cable from my laptop to the AP. It has two ports. One for connection to the LAN and the other as a bypass port for those who want to hard wire to the LAN. On this port I get speeds of 30/10, yet when connected wireless to same AP, the speed is 17/8 down to 11/4.

Anyone ever see such a thing?

I have two other hotels with the same configuration. No problems.
Do I have a bad batch of APs?

It seems the wireless is definitely the problem. You really need to scan the airwaves to see what is going on. I use inSSIDer on my laptop to scan, but it is not a free program. There are also some apps for mobile devices you can use to scan. You really need to take a look to see where you are getting interference as it really looks like that is what is going on.
