OpenVPN client cannot change username

Hi First time poster here and hoping someone can help. Using RT-AC68U
I cannot change my username within the OpenVPN client setup when I go and try to setup a new OpenVPN client as it keeps reverting to a username that is one of my old email addresses. I attempt to delete the username and password and press APPLY or DEFAULT and the same details keep reappearing. I have set back to factory default and also reverted to older firmware and I still the same user and password keeps re-appearing whenever I try to setup a new client. Have also cleared browser caches et. with no luck. Running 380.68_4 firmware and have also reverted to 380.68 and still no joy
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Check your browser, it must be auto-filling the field for you. That isn't related to the cache but to form autofill functions.

Thanks soo much RMerlin. Finally sorted, it was actually my password manager (Lastpass) I suspected but never followed through with checking that theory.
Sometimes the simple solutions can be so easily overlooked!!!! Always learning.
